Our Flag Still Waves Proudly… Flags of the Texas Revolutionary and Republic Eras

Spend the day with us as we take a look at the flags of Revolutionary and Republic era Texas. Listen in as each of the many flags on display are described and discussed by former TXSSAR president, Tom Green. Try your hand at putting a stitch into a hand sewn recreation of an early Texas flag! This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the park visitors’ center at between five to ten minutes prior to the scheduled tour times. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 12300 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Accessible for the mobility impaired. Program is $5 adults, $3 children, free for children 6 and under. Program subject to cancellation.
