Our Uncommon Senses

Come participate in a fun demonstration that will have you using all of your senses to observe common natural objects found in Lockhart State Park.  In line with the fall season, we will be highlighting many of the different trees found in the park and getting up close while getting to know them better.  The demonstration will be followed by a short hike where we will look at the many diverse tree species Lockhart State Park has to offer.  Check park headquarters the day of for exact program meeting location.  Bring water if needed.  Pets are allowed on a leash.  Regular park entry fees of $3 per person 13 years and older will apply.  Children 12 years old and younger admitted free.
