Painters in the Park

The staff of Washington on the Brazos SHS invites visitors with an artistic flair to join us in our beautiful surroundings for a day of painting. Visitors are encouraged to bring an easel, a canvas and their paints and interpret the natural beauty that is Washington on the Brazos SHS. Even if you don’t bring out your canvas you can still enjoy the park and watch on as others create their next masterpiece right before your eyes! This special program is ongoing throughout the day and is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the season as the presentation takes place outside. Meet at the park visitors’ center at between five to ten minutes prior to the scheduled tour times. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 12300 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Program is $5 adults, $3 children, free for children 6 and under. Program subject to cancellation.
