Paragliding Demonstration and Weather Presentation
•Start: 4:30 p.m.
•Length: 2 to 3 hours
•*Description: This special program is setup as a demonstration to provide visitors with an insight into the exhilarating and wonderful world of paragliding. Many visitors to FMSP don’t know about this recreational activity available to them in our park - We will be joined by Hadley Robinson, operator of Southwest Airsports and El Paso Paragliding LLC. Hadley is USHPA & USPPA Certified Advanced and Tandem Instructor, Champion 2010 Spring Fling, La Belle, FL. USHPA Gold Safe Pilot Award. We’ll start with a relatively short, yet somewhat challenging hike up to Agave Hill, then settle in for the demonstration. We will also have a special presentation on the importance of understanding the weather as it relates to those living in the desert southwest and to paragliders in general.
Water, snacks, hiking shoes/boots, hiking stick, camera, and binoculars!
