The Friends of Blanco State Park, a nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a Photo Safari and Workshop led by professional nature photographer Joe Walsh. Taking advantage of the colorful Fall Foliage in the Park, Joe will lead the Safari through the Park capturing photos of the landscape, the Blanco River, and the foliage. The Workshop element of the morning will stress composition, exposure, lighting, and settings for “WOW!” photographs. Joe will provide professional photographers’ ‘Tips’ for taking those beautiful pictures that any amateur will be proud to display!
Cost of the Photo Safari and Workshop will be $35 per person. Entry fee to the park will be included in the $35 registration fee. After checking in at the Park Entrance with a Friends Volunteer, Safari participants will meet at the ‘long table’ (SW corner of the park), at 9 o’clock to begin the morning photo adventure. Please call Marilynn Lageman at (830) 733-0920 to pre-register.
