The Limpia Canyon Primitive Area has so much to offer our visitors. It is peaceful, undeveloped, and stunningly beautiful. With over 9 miles of trails, there is a ton to see and explore! Join a Ranger on a hike up to the overlook point and take in the great views that it provides.

This hike is easy to moderate in terrain, but strenuous in length. It is about 9 miles round trip and will take approximately 6.5 hours. We recommend you bring a hiking stick and wear sturdy shoes. It is IMPERATIVE that you bring enough water, as there is no water access in this area of the park (16 oz. per hour of hiking). Bring a lunch as well, since we will not be returning until the late afternoon. Other items that are recommended are sunscreen, a hat, a camera, and binoculars. We do not advise bringing pets on this hike due to its length.

There is no activity fee but RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS HIKE. At least 10 hikers are needed for this event and it will be cancelled if the minimum is not met. To make reservations, contact Nina Cardenas at the phone number listed.
