Project WILD and Growing Up WILD invite you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. During the eight-hour training workshop participants will sample activities and receive both curriculum guides. Growing Up WILD is designed for 3-7 year olds and is correlated to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards and the Head Start Domains. Project WILD is adaptable for all grade levels, integrated with core subject curricula. Both are aligned to TEKS. SBEC credit available for teachers. Anyone who works with children, including teachers, home-schoolers, informal educators and scout leaders are welcome.
Held at theTemple Library Building,100 W. ADAMS in the McLane Room on the 3rd floor.
