Rock the Canyon – Family Fun

Come out to the canyon for a rockin' hike! Instead of your MP3 player and headphones bring your hiking boots and water....this will be a kid-friendly geology hike targeted mainly at kids 8 and older. There will be a brief presentation on the basics of rocks and then a short hike to see some rocks in their natural setting. Come out with your children and learn a thing or two about the local geology of the canyon and San Antonio area. Meet at the picnic pavilion. Everyone welcome, no reservations necessary.
