Souper Supper
Hosted by Friends of the Lost Pines State Parks, this potluck dinner will showcase the unique partnership between this support organization and Bastrop and Buescher state parks.

Join the Friends of the Lost Pines State Parks' annual Souper Supper, at the Recreation Hall at Buescher State Park. This is a wonderful community potluck event with emphasis on delicious pots of home-made soups. Breads, desserts, drinks and side dishes are also welcome. Everyone is invited: current and potential Friends of the parksand friends of friends. Bring a crock-pot of your favorite soup or something else to share and a healthy appetite.
The Friends of the Lost Pines State Parks support and facilitate numerous activities to benefit Bastrop and Buescher state parks. Many volunteer opportunities will have informative displays at the Souper Supper: “Go Fish!” family fishing clinics, “Run Your Ash Off” Labor Day weekend run (and other YMCA/FLPSP co-activities), the Buescher Park multi-use mountain bike trail project, ongoing trail maintenance and seasonal tree planting projects, and more.
