Spring Egg Hunt

An interpretive geocaching event where kids will have the opportunity to learn to use handheld GPS receivers, then borrow one to find caches of eggs around the Kid’s Fishing Pond at the park.  The caches will contain information about different egg-laying animals in the park, kids who find all the caches will receive a prize!  Held at Ray Roberts Lake State Park – Johnson Branch Unit, 100 PW 4153, Valley View, TX  76272; please dress for the weather and bring drinking water; this event is accessible for the mobility and hearing impaired.  There is no fee for the event, only park entrance fees ($7/person over 12 years of age or free with Texas Park Pass) are required.  Kids of all ages are welcome with parent supervision; no reservations necessary.
