This night offers several great observing opportunities in the few hours just after sunset. Sunset is at approximately 5:30 so observers should try to enter the park before or around 5:00. There will be many interesting things to see in the sky Friday night, Geminid Meteor Shower, planet Jupiter and one of Jupiter’s moons (Europa) will pass in front of the face of Jupiter. This many highlights in a few hours on one night is good reason for a Star Party! Special Event Fee $3.00 per adult, 12 and Under Free. TSPP Cards accepted.
