The program begins with an overview of space using Stellarium, a real-time computer generated view of the heavens. After this sneak peak at what will be shining you will step outside to amateur astronomers waiting to guide you through the night sky, each of their telescopes trained to a different planet, star, or galaxy. Please bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. Event is free with a day entry permit into park ($4.00 for 13 and older; free for 12 and younger and Texas State Park Pass Holders).
