Want to enjoy the outdoors and beat the heat? Starting a little over an hour before sunset a Park Ranger will lead you on a nature hike and talk about the history of the Concho Valley area and San Angelo State Park. Hike ends on Wink Hill just before sunset so bring your cameras!

Beat the heat by taking a Ranger led nature hike in the coolness of the evening through San Angelo State Park. We will discuss plant and animal life, the history of the San Angelo State Park and the rich history of the Concho Valley. Questions are welcome throughout the hike! The hike will end on top of Wink Hill just before sunset so bring your cameras! Partipants will meet at the South Shore Gatehouse located at San Angelo State Park, 362 South FM2288, San Angelo, Texas 76901 at 7:00PM. Closed toe shoes and long pants are recommended for the hike as well as bug spray and water. Remember that even in the Texas summer, Life's Better Outside!
