In November our survival theme will be edible plants! We will learn to recognize a variety of edible plants found in Central Texas including dangerous look-a-likes. You'll also learn how to prepare them, how much you'd need to eat to survive, and foraging ethics. The class will be held at the amphitheater but we will be going on a short hike so come prepared. We will provide all the necessary materials. The cost of the program is $3, and all entrance fees apply (children 12 and under are free).
Please note that collecting any natural or cultural resources is a violation of park rules and regulations. We will not be collecting plants on this hike.
