Putting young men to work across the nation, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built state and national parks, and helped preserve our natural resources. This presentation will discuss the events leading up to the Great Depression, the role of the CCC  in helping America defeat the greatest financial crisis in our nation's history and how they built Fort Parker State Park and many other parks in the Texas State Park System. Program starts at 9:00 p.m. at the open pavilion. 

There is no fee for the program, but park entrance fees apply. Children 12 and under have free park entry.
