The 2013 Great Backyard Bird Count (Feb 15th-18th) is a yearly wintering bird survey done by citizen scientest across North America. You can help by counting in your own yard or you can help us count ours. Estero Llano Grande will have information on birding and on the GBBC that will help you to become the best citizen scientest you can be.
You can stop in to get some great information on making your own bird feeding station, pic up some cool birding posters and information, or help us.
Join our weekly bird walk to help count on the 16th and 17th from 8:30am-10:30am. You can also count on your own in the park and give us your data to be entered to GBBC or learn how to enter it on your own.
No matter how or where you choose to help you will play an important role as a citizen scientest.
