For five years now, the Borderland Mountain Bike Association has hosted what most riders will say is definitely the toughest mountain bike race in Texas. Now the El Paso Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and the Sports Commission of El Paso have brought in the El Paso Marathon Foundation to create a truly epic weekend of endurance sports in the Franklin Mountains State Park with an addition of a trail running marathon and half marathon.
Want to try both? Then compete in the Half Mad or Completely Insane competition. Half Mad is the half marathon run and 35 mile bike. Completely Insane is the full marathon and 50 mile bike.
