Just about everyone has an opinion about snakes. But are they vicious and scary, or is there more to them than meets the eye? Come to our ranger talk, and find out how snakes not only have a special place in nature, but how they also help people! You'll also get to touch real snake skin sheds (NOT live snakes--there will be no live animals at this program). We will also discuss snake safety for when you're outside.
Meet at the Bird Aviary Facility (see map below). Bring drinking water for the heat, but program will be under shelter. All ages welcome!
Note: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee. No need to register--just show up!
