If you don’t know a persimmon from a possum haw and would like to, join our Park Interpreter Craig Hensley for a walk along the trails of Honey Creek State Natural Area as you learn the keys to identifying our native trees and shrubs, as well as their importance to the wildlife of the Natural Area and Park. We’ll meet at the Rust House inside Guadalupe River State Park at 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring water. This adult-based program is free with a TPWD Park Pass or after paying the $7 entrance fee.
