Learn how to identify common trees and plants of Caddo Lake State Park, and how the different ecosystems here interact to make the place we know and love! Meet at the trailhead by the boat ramp parking lot. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water. The trail is two-thirds of a mile long. The trail is not wheelchair accessible. There is a set of steep steps going uphill and a set going downhill.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Leashed and non-agressive dogs are welcome on this hike. There is no fee for the program, but park entrance fees apply. Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions.
