Sorry Fellow's, but this is a women's only hike :) The intention is to get more women out on the trails, building their confidence and eager to hike! Gentleman, share this with your mother, grandmother, daughters, sisters, girlfriend, wife, or any other important lady in your life. Women, join us for a fun new series of hikes and share with all of the other important girls and ladies in your life!
Saturday, December 1 - ($8.00 – this is the entrance fee + activity fee)
Women’s ONLY hike – Lower Sunset Trail
- Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
- Length: 2.5 miles/1.5 to 2 hours
- *Difficulty Level: Steep decent at the beginning, becoming level for a good distance of about a mile down an old jeep road; then take the lower sunset trail to the left, with short steep ascents, and fabulous views along the edges of the arroyos and off to the west. Finish with a short, steep climb back to Site 39.
Bring: Water, snacks, sturdy hiking shoes/boots, hiking stick, camera, binoculars, a map and dogs are welcome on leashes!
