Meet at Tom Mays Unit
•Start:. 7:00 a.m.
•Length: 2-3 hours, 2 miles.
*Difficulty level: Moderate - difficult. Begin with a gradual incline over scree, or rubble, proving to be challenging for some; then transition to a steady climb over loose rubble/rocks. At the summit of this hike we’ll cross a small wooden bridge where we encounter the towering Cottonwood Trees, a continuously dripping spring and an ecosystem all its own! This hike is more difficult than the most recent Women’s Only hikes (longer, increased incline/climbing)
Bring: Water, snacks, sturdy hiking shoes/boots, hiking stick, camera, binoculars, a map and dogs are welcome on leashes!
