Amistad Fishing Report

Mar 20, 2024
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 63 degrees; 66.11 feet below pool. Black bass are good on main lake points and drains with deep water access are holding spawning fish. Target 10-20 feet of water using crankbaits, deep diving jerkbaits, Carolina rigged lizards and worms. Ned rigs and shaky heads on rocky banks will also produce fish. White bass are good 15-20 feet of water off creek channel swings and flats on rattletraps, crankbaits, blades and spoons. Shad patterns are working the best. Stripers are slow.
