Values of Commercial Fish Landings
Since 1936, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has monitored the commercial landings and value of Texas marine fisheries such as shrimp, crabs, oysters and finfish. TPWD has collected the data through a mandatory self-reporting system which is completed by seafood dealers. Prior to the Trip Ticket Program, Monthly Aquatic Product Reports (MAPR’s) were used to collect landings and value data. In 2007, the Trip Ticket Program was established in Texas to collect data on a trip basis rather than the monthly summaries. For more information, you may contact trip ticket staff:

2010 Texas Commercial Landings
*Unless otherwise noted, all weights are whole weights.
*Commercial shrimp landings (except bait shrimp) are provided to TPWD by the National Marine Fisheries Service. Weights are tail weight. Shrimp landings include shrimp caught off Texas regardless of point of landing and include NMFS statistical areas 18.0 - 21.0.
