Catch of the Month
New State Record — June 4, 2013
This 493-pound swordfish, caught by Bryan Barclay in the Gulf of Mexico, beat the previous state record by more than 100 pounds. Over 12 feet in length, the fish was caught with rod and reel using squid for bait.
One interesting photo will be selected by our staff and showcased on the Angler Recognition Program website each month. Send us a good photograph of the fish and the angler and your catch may be selected!
