Spots marked with (*) may receive stockings of rainbow trout in winter. Most of the small lakes are Community Fishing Lakes and have special harvest regulations for catfish. Size limits, daily bag limits and gear restrictions for all sites can be found in our fishing regulations.
Bank access is available at Festival Beach Park, Auditorium Shores and Red Bud Island. The Austin hike and bike trail circles almost the entire lower two thirds of the reservoir offering access to the bank.
Festival Beach is located on the north side of the lake just east of I-35. Auditorium Shores is on the south shore off Riverside Drive between South 1st and Lamar. Red Bud Island can be reached by turning south onto Red Bud Trail off Lake Austin Boulevard.

Bank fishing is available at the Loop 360 bridge crossing, Emma Long Park, Mary Quinlan Park and Fritz Hughes Park near Mansfield Dam.
Emma Long Park can be located by turning south onto City Park Road off of Ranch Road 2222 just west of Loop 360. Mary Quinlan Park can be located by turning south on Quinlan Park Road from Ranch Road 620. Fritz Hughes Park can be reached by turning onto Low Water Crossing Road from 620, and turning south on Fritz Hughes Park Road.

Lake Travis has 14 parks and recreation areas on its shores. Travis County operates seven of the parks through an agreement with the Lower Colorado River Authority, which manages the remaining parks. Each park offers bank fishing access and a host of other amenities.

Good bank access on west side of lake. Picnic tables, a playscape and horseshoe pits are located on site.
The park is located at 2901 Settlement Drive. From I-35, take the FM 3406 exit (just north of HWY 79 exit) and go east on 3406/Old Settlers Boulevard to a straffic light at Sunrise Street. One block past Sunrise Street, turn left onto Settlement Drive, and lake is about ¼ mile on the right side of the road.

Excellent bank access and a fishing pier. Hiking paths, restrooms, picnic tables and playground equipment are located on site.
Located in Old Settlers Park. From I-35, take the HWY 79 exit, head east on HWY 79 about 3 miles and turn left into park. Pass baseball diamond and soccer fields; lake will be on the right.

This 180-acre lake offers several fishing piers. A 3-mile walking/jogging trail, playbround, pavilion, beach area and restrooms are available in the park.
Located in Pflugerville at the intersection of Weiss Lane and Pflugerville Parkway.

This lake is a Neighborhood Fishin' site, receiving frequent stockings of channel catfish and rainbow trout.
The lake is located in Travis County East Metropolitan Park. The 273-acre site includes two additional fishing ponds that are stocked less frequently. Picnic areas, playscapes, hiking trails, concessions, restroom facilities and a swimming pool are located in the park.
The park is located at 18701 Blake Manor Road. From Austin, take US 290 east to Manor. Turn right on FM 973 (Lexington Street) and then left on Blake Manor Road. Follow Blake Manor about 4 miles to park entrance on right.

Bank angling is available at the Metropolitan Park where the boat ramp is located. Restrooms, picnic tables and playground equipment are available.
From East Austin, go east from US 183 on FM 969, and turn left onto Blue Bluff Road. From Del Valle, go north off of HWY 71 East onto FM 973, and pass through the FM 969 intersection. Turn left onto Decker Lake Road, then right onto Blue Bluff Road.

Four fishing ponds offer good bank access within this Travis County Park. Other amenities include hiking trails, a climbing wall and various sporting fields and courts.
Travel east on HWY 71 past Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The park is on the north side of HWY 71.

Boat and bank access can be found at North Shore and South Shore parks. They are operated by the LCRA. Additional amenities at both parks include picnic tables, playgrounds and sand volleyball courts. The North Shore has a fishing pier and the South Shore provides a swimming area.
From Austin, take HWY 71 east to Bastrop, take a left onto HWY 95. To South Shore: Take a right onto HWY 21 East. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto South Shore Road (also CR 352). Continue on South Shore Road, the entrance will be on your right. To North Shore: Turn right off HWY 95 onto FM 1441, drive 2.5 miles to the park entrance.

Opening in spring 2012, this new park provides a fishing pier and bank access to the 19-acre lake. A nature trail, playscape, and washer and horseshoe pits will be available. No pets allowed.
Located at 700 Lehman Road. From I-35 in Kyle, take FM 150 east, turn north on Lehman Road and go about 1/2 mile.
