Five of the spots listed here are Neighborhood Fishin'
lakes. These are stocked approximately every two weeks with channel catfish in summer and rainbow trout in winter. Spots marked with (*) may also receive stockings of rainbow trout. Most of the small lakes are Community Fishing Lakes and have special harvest regulations for catfish. Size limits, daily bag limits and gear restrictions for all sites can be found in our fishing regulations.
Numerous parks around the lake offer bank access, restrooms, campsites and boat ramps.

US Army Corps of Engineers (817) 292-2400
The park has picnic tables, restrooms, a pavilion, a basketball court, and a playground. The nearby community center operates a tackle loaner program where visitors can check out free fishing equipment.
In Fort Worth, from I-20, exit Hemphill Street and go north. Park is on the west side of the street.

There are two fishing areas in the park along the river, with abundant bank access throughout the park. Other amenities include picnic tables, restrooms, a playground, a bicycle and running trail and a children’s train station. The Fort Worth zoo is nearby.
In Fort Worth, from IH 30 exit onto University Drive and go north. Park is on the east side of the street.

Fishing piers and boat ramps are available, but bank access is limited. Parks have restrooms, water fountains and picnic tables.
Richard Simpson Park: Take I-820 east in Forth Worth and exit onto Rosedale. Go east on Rosedale/Pioneer Parkway, then south on Green Oaks Blvd. and west on Arkansas.
Lake Arlington Park: Take I-820 east in Forth Worth and exit onto Ramey. Go east on Ramey and south on Quail.

From Hwy. 121-183 in Hurst, exit onto Norwood and go north. The parks is on the east side of the road.

From I-35E in Lewisville, exit onto FM 407. Go east on 407, continue east on Lake Park Road and turn north on Turtle Trail.

The park has picnic tables, restrooms, pavilions, tennis and basketball courts, and a playground.
From I-35E go south on FM 2181 and turn west on Hobson Lane. Look for park on north side of road.

From I-20 in southwestern Dallas County, exit onto FM 1382 and go south. The park entrance is on the west side of the road.

This lake offers excellent bank access and two fishing piers. The park also has restrooms, a playground, picnic tables, a basketball court, and tennis courts.
From I-20 in Duncanville, exit on Cedar Ridge and go south. Turn east on Camp Wisdom then south on Stegar Drive.

From I-30 in Dallas, exit onto Hampton Road. Go south on Hampton, east on Colorado Blvd, and south on Tyler. The park is on the east side of the road.

From I-35E, exit onto Regal Row and go east. Take Harry Hines Blvd. north, turn north again on Webb Chapel Extension and then east on Bachman Drive. The lake is on the south side of the road.
