Most of the small lakes are Community Fishing Lakes and have special harvest regulations for catfish. This lake is a Neighborhood Fishin' site, receiving frequent stockings of channel catfish and rainbow trout. Bank and pier access, picnic tables, trails and restrooms. Recreation center also located within the park.
Located at 5597 Gardenia Lane. From Houston take I-10 west to exit 742 to Katy-Ft. Bend County Road. Turn right on Katy-Ft. Bend to Franz Road. Turn left on Franz Road and go 1.1 miles to Avenue A. Turn right onto Avenue A and proceed straight into the park.

Take I-10 east from downtown Houston, cross Loop 610 and take the next exit (Mercury Drive). Go left on Mercury, which ends at the park. Follow road back and to the right to new parking area and pavilion. The lake trail is marked with a sign.

Located at 3452 Fellows Road. Heading south on Hwy. 288, exit Fellows Road. Go east 0.46 miles past 288 and Sam Houston Tollway intersection. Turn right into park and follow road to amphitheater. The lake is located next to amphitheater parking lot.

Take I-45 south to Galveston, continue straight down Broadway until you reach the beach, turn left on Seawall Blvd, left on Ferry Road (two stop lights) to the landing, take free ferry to Bolivar Peninsula, go about 20 miles to Rollover Pass.
Galveston Bay. Bank and wade fishing. Restrooms at entrance, bring your own drinking water.
Go east on I-10, right at the Anahuac/Hankamer exit, go south 2 miles to FM 562. Continue south on FM 562 for 8.3 miles to FM 1985, and 4 miles east to refuge entrance.
