Due to low water levels, public boat ramps on this lake are closed.
Canoes and other small boats may launch from the bank.
Access varies depending on the water level; call the lake office (325) 728-5331 before visiting, because you may need to pick up a gate key from the city. Campsites can be found at Lake Colorado City State Park, a few miles west of the reservoir on I-20. For more details, choose a point on the map or a name in the chart below.

Fisher Park
- Located on the southwest shore of the reservoir. Go seven miles south of Colorado City on Texas Highway 208, then west 2 miles at the road sign
- Boat ramp is paved. Launching from shoreline is required if water level is below ramp.
- Access fee required
- Open all year
- Operated by City of Colorado City
