After the 2006 Christmas holiday, TPWD’s Inland Fisheries Management crew in San Angelo was given surplus cut pine trees by a local Wal-Mart. The fisheries crew created fish habitat structures out of these trees by weighting them with bricks and sinking them in five piles of 7 to 10 trees each at Lake Nasworthy. Locations of these structures are shown on the map below. Coordinates are also available in downloadable files.
