How to Enter

All proceeds raised from Big Time Texas Hunts benefit wildlife conservation, research and public hunting in Texas. Each entry costs $9 online or $10 by phone, mail or retail, and you can enter as many times as you like.

Online

Only $9 each! Please note that a $5 administrative fee is required for all online transactions, regardless of how many items you purchase during one transaction. In order to purchase entries online, you must be registered in the Texas License Connection, but you do not have to purchase a hunting or fishing license.

Buy Entries Now

Please follow the instructions below to buy an entry:

  1. Click the "Buy Entries Now" link anywhere on this website to go to the Texas License Connection Online System
  2. The Texas License Connection Online System will open to a page with information on things your should know before you start. Read that information and then hit “Continue”
  3. Follow the instructions to click on the link that best fits your description:
    • You’ve purchased a license, permit or Big Time Texas Hunts entry before
    • You have not purchased a license, permit or Big Time Texas Hunts entry before
    • You’re purchasing licenses, permits or entries for others
  4. Depending on which link you click, you will either have to fill in some information to locate your existing account or to register as a new customer
  5. Click “Buy Licenses, Permits or Entries”
  6. Select the category “Hunting” and the license year “Next Year (09/01/2012 – 08/31/2013)”
  7. Click on the box next to the names of the Big Time Texas Hunts packages you would like to purchase an entry in (Texas Exotic Safari, Texas Whitetail Bonanza, Texas Waterfowl Adventure, Texas Big Time Bird Hunt, or Texas Gator Hunt)
  8. Each time you click on a check box next to the hunt package, it will ask you what quantity of entries you would like to purchase for that entry. There is no limit to the number of entries that you can purchase.
  9. When you’ve selected all of the entries you would like to purchase, click “Check Out” at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

Mail

Print out the Big Time Texas Hunts Entry form media download(PDF 293.2 KB).
Complete the entry form, including the "type" number of the hunt package(s). Mail entry form and a check or money order (send no cash) for the total amount to:
