White-tailed Deer

Mule Deer

Archery Only Mule Deer:: Sept. 29-Nov. 2, 2012. Bag Limit: One buck deer.
General Season: Nov. 23-Dec. 9, 2012. Bag Limit: 2 deer, no more than one buck, all seasons combined. Antlerless deer may be taken only by Antlerless Mule Deer or MLD permit.

Javelina:

No closed season. Bag Limit: 2 per license year.

Squirrel:

No closed season. No bag limit.

Turkey

The annual bag limit for turkey, in the aggregate for all counties, is four (4), no more than one of which may be an Eastern turkey.

Quail:

Statewide: Open season: Oct. 27, 2012-Feb. 24, 2013. Daily bag limit: 15 Possession limit: 45

Dove:

The area south of a line beginning at the International Toll Bridge in Del Rio, northeast along U.S. Highway 277 Spur to U.S. 90 in Del Rio, east along U.S. 90 to the county line is in the Special White-winged Dove Area.

The remainder of the county is in the Central Zone.
