Open year round for hunting, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. No camping available at the WMA. For camping, go to Ray Roberts Lake State Park.
Hiking
Hiking is an enjoyable activity that is available in many of the Wildlife Management Areas of Texas. Since potable water is not available on many of the Wildlife Management Areas, it is a good idea to bring plenty of drinking water.
There aren't any designated trails for hiking, but the shoreline and existing old roadbeds are used for walkways.
