Directions

The Chaparral WMA is located in La Salle and Dimmit counties. Take IH 35 southwest about 100 miles to Artesia Wells. IH 35 intersects with FM 133 (exit #56 on IH 35) at Artesia Wells, take a right heading west for eight miles to the headquarters office located on the right just past the La Salle county line. You will pass the hunter campground entrance on the right one and one half miles before the main office.
