Kerr WMA: Management Programs

White-tailed Deer Weights

Since 1962, average field dressed weights for bucks (harvested during public hunts) of all age classes have increased. These results are a response of rotational grazing, prescribed burning, cedar control, and proper harvest of white-tailed deer and exotics.
