Effects of Selection for Drop-tine Points in White-tailed Deer

It is widely speculated that drop-tine points in male white-tailed deer is a homozygous trait. This study would use deer or deer semen obtained from a breeder in East Texas who claims he has produced a pure line of drop-tine bucks. This information would further our knowledge regarding antler traits and provide insights into the practice of selecting for this desired antler trait.
