The green jay has beautiful feathers! Unlike most birds, both male and female green jays have the same bright colors. They live in family groups. Green jays eat insects, fruit, and seeds.


Directions: Print this page. Follow the numbers and use bright colors for this bird!

For more fun, make more than one. Cut out the birds after coloring. Create a "Palm Forest" for the birds. Use a large paper or bulletin board. On other paper, trace the outline of your hand. Cut out the palms. Draw branches on the large paper. Arrange your palms on the paper or bulletin board. Tape or staple birds to palm branches.
