Color the Cliff Swallow
Fun
to Know:
Cliff swallows build gourd-shaped nests of mud that stick to cliffs and buildings. These birds use about 1,000 mud pellets to build one nest! Cliff swallows have a slate blue body, brown wings, an orange patch above its tail, a tan patch above its bill and a bright red chin and neck. Unlike many birds, male and female cliff swallows have the same colors.
