Ecoregion Award Selection Criteria | Lone Star Land Steward Winners | Leopold Conservation Award Selection Criteria

On May 21, 2013 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and our partners will again celebrate excellence in private land stewardship by recognizing landowners throughout the state for their contributions to natural resource conservation and management. In 2013, we will mark the 18th annual Lone Star Land Steward Awards honoring excellence in wildlife management on private land. This awards program has grown to be one of the most prestigious landowner awards in Texas.

Sponsors will be recognized at the Awards reception on May 21, be featured in a full color “thank you” ad appearing in the November 2013 issue of Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine, and receive recognition through TPWD press releases, email blasts, Web site, videos and other media outlets. Platinum and Gold sponsors will also receive recognition in a print ad to run in Texas Monthly’s September 2013 issue. Platinum sponsors will also receive recognition in the award winners’ videos to be shown at the May reception and subsequently posted on the TPWD YouTube channel. One or more of these videos will also be featured on the TPWD website’s home page, on other areas of the TPWD website and in the Life’s Better Outside e-newsletter sent to more than 100,000 email subscribers.
