Landowner Workshops and Field Days
The Private Lands Program encourages landowners to supplement their wildlife and habitat management skills and knowledge by participating in workshops and field days. General, specialized, beginner and advanced events are offered by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and our partners. Topics include but are not limited to:

Workshops
- Wildlife Tax Valuation Workshop
- January 14, 21, and 28, 2012 at Cibolo Nature Center, Boerne, Texas
Registration required: Cibolo Nature Center or by calling (830) 249-4616.
Topics: Hosted by the Cibolo Nature Center and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, this program is especially for owners of less than 500 acres and will emphasize wildlife management for songbirds. Learn about the history of the Wildlife Tax Valuation and requirements to qualify for this valuation. Discover methods to create healthy landscapes for wildlife that fulfill Tax Valuation requirements. Many participants complete the seminar ready to submit an application for a Wildlife Tax Valuation.
