Salt Fork Brazos River - From the Baylor/Throckmorton County line upstream to the Baylor/Knox County line (within TNRCC classified stream segment 1208).

Biological function: prairie stream ecosystem displays significant overall habitat value (Moss and Mayes, 1993)
Threatened or endangered species/unique communities: exemplary native prairie-stream fish community, including the sharpnose shiner (SOC) and smalleye shiner (SOC) (Moss and Mayes, 1993)
