Field Carries
Two-hand - used when others are in front or behind you. Also can be used in the opposite direction of someone to the side of you, but never with others on both sides of you. This carry provides the most control of your firearm
Sling - used when hiking to and from your main hunting area
Trail - used when others are behind or to the side of you
Always use a haul line when lifting rifle to a tree, tripod or tower stand - gun unloaded
Cradle - used when others are in front or behind you. Also can be used in the opposite direction if someone is to the side of you, but never on both sides of you
Elbow - used when others are behind or to the side of you
