Tracking
When tracking & locating game
Trackers & flankers -
Keep 50 yards apart, with tracker concentrating on trail, while flankers look ahead for downed or fleeing game
Approach downed wildlife carefully -
- Approach from behind quietly
- Wait for a few minutes & watch for movement
- Poke animal gently with a stick
- Touch the animal gently, if there's no reaction the animal is usually dead
