Moving a Victim

Moving a victim can be done in a variety of ways, some of which are shown here

Remember:

• Do not make injury worse by moving victim
• Do not move a victim with spinal injury
• Do not leave unconscious victim alone
• Do not move victim without stabilizing the injured part

The safest way to carry a victim is on an improvised stretcher or litter (using poles and blankets)
