Coastal Ecosystem Treasures Trunk
This trunk is filled with educational materials about coastal ecosystems. Included in the trunk are posters, videos, curriculum, activities, interactive CD-ROMS, games, and more. This trunk is available to any educator throughout the state of Texas.
- Participants will learn how to recognize important coastal organisms.
- Participants will learn the relationships between some important coastal organisms and the coastal ecosystem. For example, players may learn the habitat preferences, feeding habitats and ability to tolerate pollution of certain fish.
- Participants will learn the economic and recreational value of some important coastal organisms.
