Capitol Steps, Austin, Texas
The students from Madera, California were joined by many of their Texas partners. There was lots of fun and laughter reuniting with our friends. Big Lake, McCamey, Rankin, Crane and Socorro schools were able to join us. We made our presentation at the Texas Capitol. Mike from Madera and Celina from Socorro read our . We had a celebration dinner at Texas Parks and Wildlife headquarters that evening. Tomorrow we say goodbye again to our Texas partners and head to San Felipe, home of William Huff. Then on to the cemetary where he is buried for our final goodbye on Thursday.
