Glennwood Cemetary, Houston

The end of the Journey. We said goodbye and thank you to William P. Huff, and each other. The diaries were returned to Mr. Stewart. We are most grateful to him and his family for allowing us to use the original diaries on our journey. This was an experience of a lifetime, and we are all happy to have had this opportunity. We hope others will continue to study this important diary and honor the legacy of Mr. William P. Huff.

The following is a photo gallery from the trip. If you have questions, please contact us at education@tpwd.state.tx.us

This educational project is a partnership venture of Madera Unified School District, Madera, California; the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department; the Texas Historical Commission; and the many generous and gracious communities along the route.
