PILOT POINT— Ray Roberts Lake State Parks’ Isle Du Bois Unit is closing its day use area for a major capital repair project until fall 2019. The closure begins May 28 and includes the swimming area, picnic area and pavilions.

“We are excited the renovations to the flood damaged areas at the park are underway and we look forward to having the new and improved facilities once the projects are completed,” says Mark Stewart, park manager of the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Isle Du Bois Unit. “Although these repairs will impact plans for this summer, the improvements will enhance the park experience for our visitors in the future.”

During the closure, the campgrounds, trails and boat ramp will remain open for use. For information about the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Complex, visit the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department website.
