The Texas Watershed Steward program is a one-day training event sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB) in coordination with the Trinity Basin Conservation Foundation (TBCF). It is designed to help watershed residents improve and protect their water resources by getting involved in local watershed protection and management activities.
The training program will be held in Athens on Thursday, October 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hart-Morris Conservation Center at 5301 CR 4812 (on the grounds of the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center).
