Twitter Live-Feed Added to State Parks Webpages
AUSTIN-- Social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook allow people to find breaking news about closures for business and schools, weather and more from portable devices.
Eight state parks webpages will begin carrying live Twitter feeds that will inform visitors of real-time updates at parks.
Parks that will include the Twitter feeds on the TPWD website are:
--San Angelo State Park
--Seminole Canyon State Park
--Enchanted Rock State Natural Area
--Inks Lake State Park
--McKinney Falls State Park
--Dinosaur Valley State Park
--Ray Roberts Lake State Park (Isle du Bois Unit)
--Cedar Hill State Park.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department uses these tools to inform park goers of closures and events at parks around the state.
